Biography:

Ed Gooding graduated from Sheldon High School in 1962.  He began keeping the scorebook for all games, home and away, in the 1962-63 season.  At the time of his induction, Ed was preparing for his 32nd season with the scorebook duties.  During the years, many players and coaches decorated the Sheldon sideline.  Except for a few games missed due to National Guard commitments, Ed has been a constant at the scorer’s table.  He supported Sheldon students as a member of the school board for many years.

Ed Gooding died on December 12, 2011 at the age of 67.
