Biography: Jim’s 47-year coaching career has included 42 years in NCAA Division I men’s basketball. He has been on the staffs of 12 NCAA Tournament teams and also spent nine years as a head coach: four at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and five at Charleston Southern University.  Jim’s assistant coaching stops included six years at Illinois State University, helping the Redbirds to two NCAA Tournament berths, and six at DePaul University, which reached the NCAA tourney all six of his seasons. Jim spent time on the staff at Bradley University as well.
