Biography: Joe coached for more than three decades and was a head coach for 27 seasons. He coached boys basketball at Mount Olive and Concord Triopia, plus boys and girls basketball at East Alton Wood River.   Joe was the head girls coach at East Alton Wood River from 2016 until his retirement in 2020. He was the school’s boys head coach in two intervals from 1995-2006, winning two regionals. He finished with 322 head coaching wins.
