Biography: Jasper spent 34 years in coaching, all in the state of Illinois. He spent two years at Rosa Parks Junior High School before becoming an assistant with the (Dolton) Thornridge High School boys’ varsity team from 1979-2003. Thornridge won 431 games in Jasper’s tenure there, including 11 IHSA regional titles and 3 IHSA Sectional crowns. He was the interim head coach in 1994 and led his squad to an IHSA Regional Championship. Jasper was the head coach at (Chicago Heights) Bloom High School from 2003-2013, amassing a 199-95 record that included an IHSA 4th place state finish in 2012.
