Biography: Jim has spent 34 years in coaching, serving as head coach at (Des Plaines) Maine West High School.  His career record includes a 141-82 mark there from 1990-98.  He has also served as an assistant coach at Schaumburg High School and Hoffman Estates High School.  Jim’s Maine West teams won 3 IHSA Regional Championships, 1 IHSA Sectional Title, 1 IHSA Super-sectional game with a 4th place finish in the 1998 IHSA Class AA State Tournament.  He was IBCA District Coach of the Year in 1993 and 1998.  He coached 5 Division I players.
