Biography: Richard (known to his friends as RJ) joined his brother, Russell, their parents and some friends to start the RJ Krause All-Stars Sports Club in the East St. Louis and Washington Park areas.  There is no cost to be a member and the club fielded teams in basketball, track, softball, and cheerleading.  RJ and Russell have taken youth on educational and recreational field trips.  The club stresses getting good grades, staying out of gangs, helping senior citizens, helping people with special needs, displaying good sportsmanship, and following the golden rule.  Richard Krause passed away on April 28, 2015.
