Biography: At the time of his induction, John had been involved in high school basketball for more than 50 years as a coach, fan, and now the father of an official.  He was an assistant coach at Hillcrest and Tinley Park High Schools.  John was a head coach at Oak Forest and Rock Falls High Schools.  John attended countless games each season and had a vast number of contacts throughout the nation.  He attended the NCAA Final Four for 35 consecutive years leading to his induction.  John died on August 28, 2020 at the age of 91.
