Biography: Buck Glen Is a cornerstone in Wyoming where he had been the timer for Wyoming High School basketball games for 35 years at the time of his Hall of Fame induction. For that same period Glen had operated the down box for the Indians’ football games. As the owner and operator of Gamble Hardware in Wyoming, Glen’s store became the gathering place each morning after the game. He was always anxious to give all who wanted a first-hand account of the action. Buck served as president of the Wyoming Lions Club and the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce. Always ready with a helping hand, he was counted on numerous times for many school fund raisers and always helped. Through an aluminum can project “King Alum” as Buck is known, funds were raised for the summer baseball programs. Buck Glen died on April 20, 2009 at the age of 90.
