Biography: Bill was a junior high basketball coach at Beason and Tri-City before becoming Tri-City’s varsity coach from 1986-91.
His 1987 team went 26-5 and reached the Sweet Sixteen.  After compiling a 91-44 record at Tri-City, he moved to Riverton in 1992 and served as athletic director, assistant principal and principal. He is the officer of the Schoolmusters Sangamon County boys basketball tournament and originated the Riverton Shootout, the Riverton Girls Holiday Tournament and the Riverton Girls Shootout.
