Biography: Jim was the boys varsity basketball coach at Auburn High School from 1978-88, compiling a 160-95 record.  He had five 20-win seasons.  Over that span, his teams won two IHSA regionals and in 1988 he led Auburn to the Sweet Sixteen.  Him retired from coaching and for 27 years served as a scorekeeper, announcer, and timer at Auburn games.  he and his wife, Connie, also have been generous with their financial support of the basketball program.
