Biography: Greg wrote his first basketball story in February 1972, covering (Chicago) St. Patrick High School at (Niles)Notre Dame High School. Since then, he has covered high school basketball for 47 years, writing about more than 4,000 games and seeing more than 6,000.  Greg has written articles for the Austinite, Des Plaines Publishing, the Chicago Sun-Times, Daily Herald and Quincy Herald Whig. He has traveled the state covering prep basketball, seeing up to 155 teams in one season.
