Biography: Mac McGee was a popular and respected sports writer on the staff of the Decatur Herald and Review for many years.  As one of the most knowledgeable prep writers in the state, Mac has many great friends among the coaching fraternity.  Mac attended Breese and Carlyle High Schools and McKendree College.  He then stayed in Decatur for his writing career. Mac passed away in October 1990.
