Biography: Upon his high school graduation in 1969, Chuck Rysz had established the Riverside-Brookfield career scoring record of 1,065 points in 62 games. A three-year varsity player, Chuck was an all-state player as a senior when he averaged 22 ppg. Injuries hampered and finally cut his basketball career at Drake University short. After averaging 20 ppg with the Bulldog freshmen, Chuck missed most of his sophomore season with an Achilles tear and all of his senior year with a ruptured intervertebral disc.
