Biography: Irv Bemoras was an All-State player for (Chicago) Marshall HS in 1949.  He went on to earn All Big 10 and All American honors at the University of Illinois, graduating in 1953.  He led Illinois to Big Ten titles in 1951 and 1952.  He was voted as the MVP of the College All Star game and played pro ball in the NBA for the St. Louis Hawks from 1953-1957.  At the time of his induction (1973) Irv was the sales director for New England Life, through the Russel Stege Agency in Chicago.  Irv passed away on November 1, 2007.
