Biography: Herb Williams was an All State player at Centralia HS in 1963.  He started for three straight state tournament entries, with his 1963 team placing 2^nd after an upset by Chicago Carver.  Herb was a starter at center at Evansville College for three years, two of which they were NCAA College division champs.  Herb went back to Centralia as a coach and moved on to Maine South as its first coach and then to Evanston HS.
