Biography: 

James Kolder was the scorekeeper at (Palatine) Fremd High School for 30 years prior to his induction. During the first 10 years he scored home and away games. Scoring more than 724 games certainly reflects his dedication to the school and the sport.

Kolder had an uncanny ability for details. He remained calm in close games and was well-versed in the rules of the game. His teaching colleagues referred to Kolder as the consummate professional. Kolder said, “working with Fremd’s coaches and the coaches from visiting schools has been a wonderful experience.”
