Biography:

Affectionately known as Miss Mac, Jane has been with (Winnetka) New Trier High School for more than 55 years (at the time of her induction), serving as a teacher, coach and administrator. She was a pioneer who helped lay the foundation for Title IX. She coached volleyball, basketball, track and field hockey, with her 1976 field hockey team winning a state championship. 

Since retirement, Jane has served as an athletic supervisor, basketball official scorer and New Trier’s No. 1 fan.  Miss Mac is known and respected by players, coaches, fans and administrators from many schools in the NW suburbs of Chicago.
