Biography: 

Ty began as the boys’ basketball scorer for Eureka High School during the 1992-93 season. He kept the scorebook at away games and was a substitute for home games that season.  A year later, Ty took over as the scorer for home and away games and continued in that role through his induction. A highlight came in the 1993-94 season. Eureka advanced to the IHSA Class A state championship game, losing to Pinckneyville High School on a basket in the final seconds.
