Biography: At the time of his induction, Kent had logged a total of 25 years of basketball coaching at Teutopolis Junior High. In four years as the eighth-grade girls coach, his teams had a 56-29 record. In 21 years as the eighth-grade boys coach, he has a 415-112 mark. It adds up to a 471-141 career record.  On the boys side, Kent’s teams have won 14 regular-season conference championships and 14 consecutive IESA regional titles. He has guided Teutopolis to three state championships, two second places, one third and one fourth.
