Biography:  Roger and Peg Nothdorf had been Rock Island High School season ticket holders for 32 years at the time of their induction. They were key members of the school’s booster club. They had served as chairmen of the basketball banquets.  They also designed and laminated awards for players, coaches and cheerleaders. They were selected as Rocky Pride winners in 1987-1988. The award goes to people that go above and beyond in helping Rock Island basketball, The Nothdorfs explained their attachment to Rock Island basketball, “We feel there was someone there for us when we were in school and when your children are in school, you help. Now that our children are grown, it’s time we pay back and help the generations to come.”

Roger died on November 28, 2010 at the age of 80.  Peg died on December 14, 2013 at the age of 80.  Rock Island has lost two great supporters of high school basketball.
