Biography: By the time of his 2013 Hall of Fame induction, Scott had earned a 413-248 record in 24 seasons as a head coach.  His teams won 25 championships, including 9 IHSA Regional Titles and 9 conference championships.  Scott has been the head coach at Orion High School, (East Moline) United Township High School, Danville High School, LaSalle-Peru High School, and Rock Falls High School.  He led Orion to its first Sweet Sixteen berth, guided United Township to 2 Western Big Six Titles, and coached Rock Falls to conference, regional, and State Farm Classic titles in the same season.
