Biography:

Candace set school records of 2,768 points and 1,592 rebounds at Naperville Central High School, winning IHSA state titles in 2003 and 2004. She was the first three-time winner of the Illinois Ms. Basketball Award and the only two-time winner of the USA Today Player of the Year award.

Candace went on to star at The University of Tennessee, where she was a two-time national Player of the Year (John Wooden Award),  and Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.  Twice she led the Vols to NCAA titles in 2007 and 2008.

After her collegiate career, Candace was the first pick in the WNBA draft in 2008 by the Los Angeles Sparks.  She has also played for the Chicago Sky and the Las Vegas Aces.  Her WNBA career includes two championships, a Finals MVP and two season MVP awards.

She helped lead the USA Women’s team to Gold Medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics.
