Biography:

Stephen entered the Hall of Fame having officiated 135 IHSA girls’ postseason games, highlighted by state finals in 2006, 2007 and 2010. He worked the state championship game in 2010 and has officiated the Girls 3A-4A IBCA All-Star Game.

A licensed IHSA official for 44 years, Stephen officiates approximately 60 girls’ varsity games per year in nine conferences. He works numerous Thanksgiving and Christmas tournaments. He is a member of the Athletic Officials Service and Girls’ Catholic Athletics Conference.

In addition to being a top notch official, Stephen has spent his career as a valued teacher at (Skokie) Niles West High School.
