Biography: At the time of her induction, Karrie had amassed a 559-159 record in 25 years as a girls’ and women’s head basketball coach. She had a 158-62 mark at Tolono Unity High School, winning five IHSA Regional titles.  Karrie amassed a 158-45 mark at Parkland College, highlighted by third-, fourth- and sixth-place finishes at the NJCAA Division II national tournament. Upon her induction, she was in her ninth year at Illinois Central College, where her 243-52 record includes five national tournament appearances and three top-five finishes.  Karrie is one of the rare individuals to have been inducted into the Hall of Fame as a player in 2003 and now joins as a coach.  Fewer than 50 individuals have dual inductions.  Karrie serves the IBCA as a board member and is active in the organization’s gender equity initiatives.
