Biography:  Ned Seymour directed the boys’ basketball program at Franklin High School for 23 years.  His teams had a record of 334-256.  Franklin earned 6 MSM Conference Championships for Seymour.  Ned directed Franklin to four crowns at the Ashland Tournament and two at the prestigious Waverly Tournament.  In 1974, 1977, 1979, 1980 and 1985 the teams won IHSA Regional titles.  The 1974 squad was also an IHSA Sectional winner.  Ned served as a coach in the Western Class All-Star game in 1982 as well as the IBCA All Star Game.  

In addition to his basketball duties at Franklin, Seymour also served 23 years as athletic director at the school.
