Biography: 

At the time of his induction, Mike had spent 53 years in coaching, including coaching grade school basketball as a 14-year-old freshman in 1969. He coached St. Michael Grade School in Chicago for eight years, winning the Chicago city championship in 1976.

Mike also coached high school basketball at (Oak Park) Fenwick, (Carol Stream) Glenbard North, (Chicago) St. Benedict, (Chicago) DeLaSalle, (Norridge) Ridgewood, (Glen Ellyn) Glenbard West High Schools. He was athletic director at DeLaSalle and Glenbard West and also officiated basketball in multiple leagues.
