Biography: 

At the time of her induction, Mendy had just completed her 27th season as the girls’ varsity assistant coach at (Bloomington) Central Catholic High School.  She was a girls’ assistant at Bloomington High School for four years prior to that.

Mendy has assisted head coach Debbie Coffman for Coffman’s entire time as Central Catholic head coach. Together, they have guided the Saints to an IHSA state championship, two IHSA state runner-up finishes, an IHSA third-place trophy, 17 IHSA Regional titles, 11 conference championships and more than 600 victories.
