Biography:  Jerry Sullivan retired after 22 seasons as head boys’ basketball coach at Mason City High School, when that school bgecame part of the Illini Central consolidation.  Jerry served the new school as its athletic director.  His teams won 8 IHSA Regionals and 2 IHSA Sectionals.  Mason City was a member of the 1978 IHSA Elite Eight and the 1985 Sweet 16.  His teams won the Tomahawk Conference Championship 12 times.  Jerry’s teams earned a record of 405-170 during his coaching tenure.  Jerry Sullivan earned the respect of his players, students, coaching colleagues, administrators, officials, and members of the media.
