Biography: 

 Frank Tocha coached girls’ basketball for 28 years at Kewanee High School and compiled a 456-253 record (.643 winning percentage). His teams won 8 IHSA Regional championships and 4 NCIC titles. His 1988 team took fourth in the IHSA Class A state tournament with a 28-5 record. He also led teams to the Elite Eight in 1989 and 1991. His 1977 team made the first Sweet 16 field and his 1979 team advanced to the Sweet 16.

Tocha earned IBCA Coach of the Year honors in 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991. He also coached the school’s cross country team to a state championship in 1996 and guided the 1979 volleyball team to the Sweet 16.
