Biography: Jim built a 843-413 junior high record in 32 seasons as coach at Elmwood Grade School. He and his teams became synonymous with the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 2A state tournaments, having set a record for the most state appearances.  Jim’s teams won 19 conference championships, 25 IESA regional titles and 17 IESA sectional crowns. His IESA state tournament record includes a first-place trophy, three runner-up trophies and 2 third place finishes.
