Biography:

Bob was a standout guard at Annawan High School from 1963-66, becoming the career scoring leader with 1,232 points. The total ranked eighth in school history, and his single-game high of 43 points ranked second. (Note that there was no 3 point line at this time.)

Bob was a unanimous all-conference pick as a junior and senior and was named to the Small School All-State team his senior year. He was invited to play basketball at Illinois State University and played on the freshman team in 1966-67.
