Biography: At the time of his retirement in 2023, Cary’s teams owned a 508-405 record in 33 seasons of coaching basketball at Broadmoor Junior High School in Pekin where he had made Broadmoor a consistent force in Illinois Elementary School Association postseason play.  Cary’s teams advanced to 10 IESA Sweet Sixteens. Included in those runs have been one state championship, one state runner-up finish, three third places and one fourth place.
