Biography:

Candace accumulated 1,750 career points and 585 career rebounds at Immaculate Heart of Mary High School in Westchester. She was a three-year all-conference and all-state selection and averaged five assists per game. She led her team to a third-place IHSA state finish in 1989.

Candace moved on to play at the University of Hartford, where she ranked eighth on the career scoring list with 1,267 points. She earned all-conference honors and is a member of the Hartford Hall of Fame.
