Biography:

Eric averaged  36.3 ppg and 23.2 rpg as a senior at Illiopolis High School in 1990-91. He averaged 24 ppg and 17 rpg as a junior. At 6-foot-5, he played guard as a sophomore, forward as a junior and center as a senior.

His 1,925 career points were second in school history and his 1,431 rebounds rank seventh on the all-time state list. An all-stater, he later pitched professionally for the Dodgers, Angels and Mariners from 1998-2000.
