Biography: 

Steve was a star player at Goreville High School, graduating in 1987, and has had a stellar career as a coach and administrator. He has been superintendent at Goreville Schools since 2002 after three years at the Thompsonville Schools.

Steve began his career in 1992 as the head basketball coach, teacher and athletic director at Joppa High School. He later was Dean of Students and principal there. He coached basketball for six years, going  76-72 at a school with fewer than 100 students.
