Biography:

David had a terrific 23-year run as boys’ head basketball coach at Normal Community High School. His 468-218 career record includes a 33-2 mark for the 2021-22 season, when the Ironmen had a 26-game win streak snapped in the sectional finals.  David guided Normal Community to fourth place in the 2011 IHSA Class 4A State Tournament and to second place in 2015. His Ironmen also have won six Big 12 Conference championships and 10 IHSA Regional titles.
