Biography: Norman Ziebell was the coach of two State Championship teams at Morton of Cicero in 1932 and again in 1941.  At Moline, he had a State Runner-up in 1951.  His career record is 319-135.  He is one of the youngest coaches ever to win a State Championship at the age of 31.  Norman credits Jim Laude whom he assisted at Rockford, with providing him with the background of becoming a successful coach.  In 1945, Norman was President of the Illinois High School Coaches Association.  Norman Ziebell died on November 19, 1986 at the age of 86.
