Biography: Coach Tom Young compiled an impressive 414 wins to 191 losses during his 23 years of coaching.  His teams at Armstrong and Monticello won 4 Regional Championships, 5 Conference Championships, and 13 Invitational Tourney Championships.  In 1972 Tom Young was selected as the Illinois Basketball Coach of the Year.  Tom also served as the athletic director at Monticello High School. Tom passed away on August 6, 2001.
