Biography: Russ’s teams amassed more than 400 victories during a career that combined junior high school and high school coaching.  His 36-year career spanned a long run as the coach at Christopher Junior High School, where his 8th grade teams won 384 games.  Russ guided CJHS to 8 IESA State Tournaments, where they won the title 4 times.  His teams also placed 2nd and 4th during this string of appearances.
