Biography: Joe Lucco coached three Edwardsville teams to the state tournament with his 1957 team finishing second.  “Lucky Luke,” as he was known, ran and shot to a 554-267 record in a 31 year career.  Joe holds a winning edge against all coaches except for Collinsville’s Vergil Fletcher, another Hall of Fame member.  Luke was known as an outstanding speaker who loved to talk about the game.  He ended his career in administration as the Assistant Superintendent at Edwardsville.
