Biography:   Chris played for the now closed Arlington Heights High School.  Chris was the Daily Herald All-Area captain as a 6-6 senior for an IHSA Sweet 16 team in 1983. He averaged 15.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, earning Mid-Suburban League all-conference honors.  Chris was ninth in Mr. Basketball voting as a senior. His junior year, he was an all-area pick after averaging 12 points and seven assists per game for an IHSA Elite Eight team. He played parts of three seasons at Northwestern University, but suffered a severe knee injury that ended his playing career.
