Biography:

Doug played two varsity seasons at Springfield Lanphier High School and scored 984 career points. He was an all-city pick as a senior in 1986-87 when he led Springfield in scoring with 645 points. He had five games of 30 or more points and 10 straight with 20 or more.  After two stellar seasons at John A. Logan College, Doug played two years at Iowa State University, averaging 14.3 ppg as a senior for the Cyclones. He was the Big Eight Defensive Player of the Year in 1991.
