Biography:

Mark led one of the biggest upsets in IHSA state title-game history in 2001 when Schaumburg High School defeated (South Holland) Thornwood High School and 7-1 NBA draft pick Eddy Curry, 66-54. Mark had 21 points and 10 rebounds. He was chosen among the 100 Legends of IHSA Boys Basketball March Madness.

Mark was an all-stater, Mid-Suburban League Player of the Year and Daily Herald All-Area captain his senior year. He then played at The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he was on three NCAA Tournament teams, including the 2005 Sweet Sixteen qualifier.
