Biography:

Steve has broadcast DuQuoin High School basketball since 1990. He was the color analyst the first 11 years on WDQN Radio alongside Roger Craft before taking over as play-by-play voice in 2001 upon Craft’s retirement.

Steve has worked with six different DuQuoin head coaches, including IBCA Hall of Famer Wendell Wheeler. Since WDQN suspended operations in June, 2022, Steve has continued as the voice of the Indians online via the Weekly-Press Sports Network for E&R Media.
