Biography: Bill Wilson coached varsity boys’ basketball for 20 years with stops at Lewistown High School, Wenona High School, and Farmington High School. At Lewistown, Bill won 2 Fulton County championships in 1962 and 1964. His teams won the Western Illinois Invitational in 1958. Lewistown was an IHSA Regional winner in 1962. In 4 seasons at Wenona High School, his teams won 2 Tri-County Conference crowns and 1 IHSA Regional title. At Farmington High School, Bill’s teams earned 4 Fulton County Tournament Championships, 1 IHSA Regional title and 1 IHSA Sectional crown in 1972. That team advanced to the East Moline Super-sectional in the first year of the IHSA Class A State Series. After coaching, Bill became the superintendent of schools in Lewistown.
