Biography: The 1939 Bradley University Braves became famous by playing in the first ever NIT in New York City.  Bradley finished 3^rd and brought national prominence to the entire Midwest.  Losing only 8 games in three years the five starters became known as the Famous Five.  They were Carl Shunk, Ted Panish, Ken Olson, Chuck Orsborn, and Dar Hutchins.
