Biography: Dusty was an outstanding versatile athlete who starred in basketball and baseball at Pleasant Plains High School.  He scored 2,479 points in his career on the hardwood, leading the Cardinals to the 2000 IHSA Class A State Championship.  Dusty was a 1st-team all-state player as a junior and again as a senior.  He later played baseball at the University of Illinois and spent several years in minor league baseball.
