Biography: Melinda averaged 29 ppg at (Bridgeport) Red Hill High School, finishing her career second in school history with 2,585 points.  She also was the leading rebounder in the school’s history while earning first team all-state honors.  Melinda was named the North Egypt Conference Player of the Year.  She battled injuries in college, finshing her career playing at Southern Indiana University.  She also attended Vincennes University, receiving a degree in mortuary science.
