Biography: Tim was named the team MVP four times during his high school career at Franklin Center High School (now a part of Ashton-Franklin Center HS).  After an outstanding senior season that saw the Eagles reach the IHSA Sweet 16 in 1980.  He was a co-captain of the squad coached by Ken Neahring (IBCA Career Coach Hall of Famer in 2015).  Tim was named to the Chicago Sun-Times all state team and Player of the Year by The Dixon Evening Telegraph.  A 3^rd team IBCA all-state player, Time played in the IBCA All Star game that summer.  Tim also excelled in the classroom earning a spot as an Illinois State Scholar.  He went on to have an outstanding career at Northern Illinois University.   He lettered on NIU’s first MAC regular-season champ as frosh (1980-81).  He averaged 10.3 ppg. and 5.8 rpg. on school’s first NCAA D-I tourney team as a soph (1981-82). Tim became an All-America and Academic All-America pick as 6-9, 225-pounder for HOF (IBCA Coach in 1974) Coach John McDougal.   Tim was named two-time honorable mention AP All-America (1982-84), honorable mention Sporting News All-America (1983-84), First-Team NABC All-District Four (1983-84), and repeat First-Team All-MAC (1982-84). He won the Mid-American Conference scoring title and ranked 31st in NCAA (21.1 ppg.) as a senior.  Tim was a two-time NIU co-captain and MVP (1982-84).  He was voted to the NIU All-Decade Team (1990), All-Time Evans Field House Team (1996-97), and All-Century Team (2000-01).  Tim was selected to the NIU Hall of Fame in 1989.  Tim was a 3^rd round pick by the Chicago Bulls in 1984 and played several seasons in Europe.
