Biography: Kelly played at Springfield Lutheran High School where she became the All-Time leading scorer with 2,302 career points, and the All-Time leading rebounder with 1,831. She averaged 25.6 points and 13.8 rebounds. Kelly was selected to the IBCA 3rd Team All-State and 1st Team All-State, respectively after her junior and senior seasons.. Kelly led her team to the school’s first ever IHSA Elite Eight appearance in 1989. She continued her career at Southern Illinois University where she scored 1,093 career points and was selected MVC All-Conference 1st Team and Gateway Conference 1st Team. Kelly led SIU-C to a Gateway Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament
